Taken on a warm and sunny August day.
Behind the maize field, in the distance, stands Slieve Gallion, near Moneymore.

Toward the end of December, the sun was shining low, and the sky had a slight pink cast.
It snowed once in November this year. Slieve Gallion is a part of the Sperrin Mountains, near Moneymore, in the Mid-Ulster region.

The autumn morning walk took place a day after a particularly heavy downpour on Sunday. The autumn season is a great time to go out, especially with its colourful weather and landscape.
Springhill, located on the edge of Moneymore, offers a delightfully colourful autumn walk. One of my favourite ‘sweet & short’ casual walks. There are plenty of intriguing footpaths to explore, as well as some fascinating trees and plants to view.
