Freshly “dug up” from dense, overgrown foliage clearance. The colour yellow of the old lorry trailer really pops out on that misty day.
When I decided to walk down to Manor Park after taking a stroll around Moneymore on that icy evening, the image above was a welcome surprise as I crossed the road bridge. In particular, the newly installed pathway lamps and the white dusting of snow seemed to enhance the beauty of Manor Park.
I was sifting through my photo collection, month by month and year by year. October 2024 has just stood out as the most colourful month in the past few years. I selected 40 of them and put them all here. It’s just a combination of beautiful varied weather and an autumn sky.
Battery Harbour is the most “central” harbour on Lough Neagh, with roughly equal distances to all four corners of the lake; for this reason, one of the two Lough Neagh Rescue stations is located here.
