The image above captures a close-up view of the hare, which emerged momentarily after I inadvertently frightened the buzzard away while attempting to capture a close-up of it perched on a long tree. Manor Park, Moneymore, January 2025
When I decided to walk down to Manor Park after taking a stroll around Moneymore on that icy evening, the image above was a welcome surprise as I crossed the road bridge. In particular, the newly installed pathway lamps and the white dusting of snow seemed to enhance the beauty of Manor Park.
Snow on Slieve Gallion mountain, November 2025
It snowed once in November this year. Slieve Gallion is a part of the Sperrin Mountains, near Moneymore, in the Mid-Ulster region.
