I took a stroll around the Drum Manor Forest Park. It is less than 4 miles from Cookstown, County Tyrone, on the A505 road to Omagh. There are many different walking and hiking routes, a walled garden, and a children’s play park.
I have just managed to capture a full-body image of a brown hare, especially without the grass covering its feet. Its appearance is different from the Irish hare; I wasn’t even aware of the difference in species of hares in the UK/Ireland! See my other post on Irish hare; they seemed to have shorter ears…
These pictures were taken on the same day as the Harvest Moon, along with the pictures of the evening dusk. The first two images were taken in the early morning, and the last image was of the Super Harvest Moon in the evening. The 18th of September was a very colourful day.
