Derry/Londonderry, October 2016
Derry/Londonderry has a fascinating cityscape, complete with a large river Foyle, steep streets, and street art. It is also a historical city, with old walls and many historical buildings, making it an ideal location for photography. There are also some interesting shopfronts! When I decided to walk down to Manor Park after taking a stroll around Moneymore on that icy evening, the image above was a welcome surprise as I crossed the road bridge. In particular, the newly installed pathway lamps and the white dusting of snow seemed to enhance the beauty of Manor Park.
Autumn Stroll at the Springhill, October 2025
Springhill, located on the edge of Moneymore, offers a delightfully colourful autumn walk. One of my favourite ‘sweet & short’ casual walks. There are plenty of intriguing footpaths to explore, as well as some fascinating trees and plants to view.
