On September 6, the temperature reached 27 degrees Celsius, making it the warmest day of the year in Northern Ireland. This evening photo was taken with the Slieve Gallion mountain in the background.
These pictures were taken on the same day as the Harvest Moon, along with the pictures of the evening dusk. The first two images were taken in the early morning, and the last image was of the Super Harvest Moon in the evening. The 18th of September was a very colourful day.
Notice the rich colours in autumn mornings and evenings. In both images, you can see the warm cast.
Autumn is the time of the year when colourful leaves and weather show up, especially in the mornings and evenings. Coagh Riverside Park is a minimal riverside woodland; it takes just 5 minutes or so to walk around, but it is a lovely wood beside the large Ballinderry River, which heads out into Lough Neagh…
The autumn morning walk took place a day after a particularly heavy downpour on Sunday. The autumn season is a great time to go out, especially with its colourful weather and landscape.
Springhill, located on the edge of Moneymore, offers a delightfully colourful autumn walk. One of my favourite ‘sweet & short’ casual walks. There are plenty of intriguing footpaths to explore, as well as some fascinating trees and plants to view.
The setting is an old rural lane in Northern Ireland.
Wellbrook Beetling Mill is the only beetling mill in the UK that can be visited. Just behind the mill, there is a delightful stroll through the wooded glen.
