On September 6, the temperature reached 27 degrees Celsius, making it the warmest day of the year in Northern Ireland. This evening photo was taken with the Slieve Gallion mountain in the background.
Autumn is the time of the year when colourful leaves and weather show up, especially in the mornings and evenings. Coagh Riverside Park is a minimal riverside woodland; it takes just 5 minutes or so to walk around, but it is a lovely wood beside the large Ballinderry River, which heads out into Lough Neagh…
It snowed once in November this year. Slieve Gallion is a part of the Sperrin Mountains, near Moneymore, in the Mid-Ulster region.
